Important Medication Program Updates
Effective September 1, 2026
At Revive Innovations, our mission has always been to provide safe, high-quality, evidence-based care. As our practice continues to grow, we regularly review our policies to ensure they align with current clinical FDA standards and best practices.
Beginning September 1, 2026, we will be making important changes to how injectable medications are prescribed and dispensed.
We understand this may be a significant change for many of our patients, and we want to explain exactly what is changing, why it's changing, and what your options will be moving forward.
Why Are These Changes Happening?
After carefully reviewing our medication dispensing procedures, our medical team has determined that patients will no longer be able to leave the clinic with prefilled syringes.
These changes are being made to ensure Revive Innovations continues to provide care that aligns with current clinical standards, patient safety practices, and pharmacy dispensing requirements.
While we understand this may be an adjustment, these changes allow us to continue providing the highest level of care to our patients.
What's Changing?
Beginning September 1:
❌ Patients will no longer leave the clinic with prefilled syringes.
This applies to:
- GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications
- Hormone Injections
- Vitamin Injections
- Peptides
- Any other injectable medications dispensed through Revive Innovations
GLP-1 Weight Loss Program
Option 1: Weekly Office Visits
Visit Revive once each week for your injection.
Your medication will be administered by one of our licensed nurses during a quick office visit.
This option is ideal for patients who prefer not to administer injections themselves.
Option 2: Home-Shipped Medication Vial
Patients may purchase a multi-dose vial that will be prescribed through one of our trusted compounding pharmacy partners.
The pharmacy will ship the medication directly to your home.
Please note:
- Payment is required before the medication is ordered.
- Patients are responsible for drawing up and administering their own medication.
- Medication pricing will vary depending on the pharmacy and medication prescribed.
Hormone Therapy Changes
Beginning September 1, our preferred hormone replacement therapy will be EvexiPEL® Hormone Pellets.
Pellets provide long-lasting, consistent hormone delivery and eliminate the need for frequent injections.
Injectable testosterone may still be available on a case-by-case basis through one of our compounding pharmacy partners when medically appropriate.
Our providers will discuss which treatment option is best for your individual needs.
Peptides
Peptides such as:
- PT-141
- Wolverine Stack
- Sermorelin
- and other injectable peptides
will now be available through special order from one of our compounding pharmacy partners when appropriate.
Payment must be received before the order is placed.
Some peptides may also be administered in our clinic depending on the treatment plan.
Vitamin Injections
Vitamin injections, including:
- B12
- Vitamin D3
- Immunity
- Other IM injections
will now be administered in our clinic by our medical staff.
Take-home prefilled syringes will no longer be available.
